In our fast-paced, startup environment, it can be difficult to pause and acknowledge the impact of our work but as the year winds down, I’ve been reflecting on the wonderful and exciting year at Alto. All year long, Altoids continued to raise the bar while maintaining our commitments to our mission and patients. I’m incredibly proud of the team, and am thrilled to share some of our many accomplishments in 2024.
In the spring, we were named to the CNBC Disruptor 50 for the second year in a row. Despite a tough year for the pharmacy industry, CNBC recognized Alto for our ability to make an impact and improve the lives of our patients while focusing on sustainable growth.
We developed new solutions to better serve patients and this summer, we launched Express Delivery and Pickup to provide even greater flexibility and convenience. Now, patients can receive their courier delivery as fast as one hour after order placement. We also expanded our home delivery service to reach fertility patients in all 50 states. This means that fertility patients can receive our industry-leading care and support, no matter where they live or their proximity to a pharmacy - including those living in pharmacy deserts.
In the fall, we utilized line hauls to expand our same day courier home delivery service to fertility patients in Philadelphia, San Antonio, Colorado Springs, and the surrounding areas. With these expansions, we became the only national pharmacy to provide the same-day delivery of fertility medications to patients in these metros.
We also introduced Alto Technologies, a new suite of enterprise solutions that empowers partners with tailored technology to elevate the patient experience, improve medication access and delivery, and set new standards for convenience, cost, and care. Alto Technologies supports our rapidly growing enterprise business, which includes our partnership with Pfizer. In August, we were announced a pharmacy delivery partner on PfizerForAll, a digital platform aimed at making access to healthcare and managing health and wellness quicker and more convenient. We are also gearing up to launch with several new partners in 2025.
We continually found ways to provide an even greater patient experience, by introducing patient-focused features like enhanced delivery tracking, automated billing for cash pay patients, streamlined family account linking, new chatbot stock checks, and a price attribution update to help patients better understand their billing.
