FAQs
Yes. We can fill all of the medications necessary for your cycle. This is true whether you're undergoing IVF, egg freezing, third party reproduction, or an IUI.
Our team of fertility specialists is happy to create a price quote specific to your medication protocol. Submit an online request for a price quote and a fertility specialist will reach out to you within 1 business day via email.
We work with many fertility benefits programs, including ProgynyRx. Our team will always research your coverage first — if we find your medication needs to be filled elsewhere, we'll facilitate the transfer.
It's worth paying close attention to your insurance plan's medical and prescription benefits. Depending on your coverage, it may make most sense for you financially to use your medical benefits to cover your fertility treatment costs and consider paying out of pocket for your medications.
Alto will connect you with all manufacturer-sponsored financial assistance programs for qualifying prescriptions. Alto also works with many leading financing and loan providers.
Let your clinic know that you intend to use a lending partner as early in the process as possible. Your clinic will then prepare an estimation of treatment and medication needs based on your planned protocol. You can also request a price quote from Alto based on your protocol.
Please keep in mind that both your clinic’s estimation of costs and any price quotes from Alto may not be exact, as your medication needs may change throughout the course of treatment. If your medication costs exceed your original loan amount, you will need to pay the balance out of pocket or pursue a supplemental loan. If you do not spend all of the loan funds that were directly disbursed to your clinic or pharmacy, the excess funds will be returned to your lender.
